Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written. John 21:25 What I love about this verse is that it simply reminds me of how big our God is. I know He is big, but do I REALLY know? I think today, more than ever, as we live in a world that is so broken, this verse reminds me that “even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written,” because the authors to the gospels could have gone on and on! The books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John tell of His earthly life and are filled with things Jesus did. We get a glimpse of His birth, His ministry filled with miracles, serving others, speaking truth to a broken world, and willingly dying on the cross for you and me. We read how he was brutally beaten and crucified, but on the 3rd day He rose again. After His resurrection, He appeared to His disciples and others. But there is so much more that could have been written! How can we begin to comprehend the greatness of our God! So if the enemy tries to tell you today that God is not big enough for your struggle or circumstance, renew your mind with this verse... picture books upon books being stacked in your room, then your house, then your neighborhood...keep going and fill your state, etc. Even the space of our world does not have enough room for the books that would be written of all the many things He hath done. And He is still doing things in our lives. He is still at work...for our good and for His glory!
